Suddenly it all made sense! No longer do I dread going to Networking events to meet potential new clients at an event which is structured so it is like trying to find a date in a crowded loud bar. Now when I am speaking to someone I may not have met before I don’t talk to them as a potential client (although they may well be), I speak to them about how we can form a strategic alliance relationship.
