| There was a time when networking was just getting a little tired! It cost a lot, took me away from business and produced no tangible results. So after many breakfasts of poached eggs and coffee I decided to take a punt with Networking World. I already knew Brenda from other functions and realized instantly that she was committed to helping others, was full of bright ideas and her integrity was impressive. Being part of Networking World has been great for someone like me. Not much of a social butterfly I look for targeted business strategies with people who are equally focused on moving forward with alliances. So I get targeted networking with Networking World, up front! Brenda recently introduced me to Belinda of Amazing Events, another Networking World member. It seemed my ears should have been burning because they had been talking about me behind my back. A good thing it turns out! It became clear that there was a potential alliance between Belinda and myself which Brenda could see and was able to foster. After a couple meetings we now have a plan for the development of what will become not just an alliance, but potentially a new business partnership. It has taken a lot of networking to develop something of powerful potential, but I am glad I stuck to it, glad I took the chance on becoming part of the Networking World community.
