Thanks for all your help so far in introducing me to the powers of networking. As a result of your service and the business profiles provided I have now had the opportunity to met one on one with a number of businesses that share my target market and where potential alliances may lead to cross referral and benefits to us both. One of the people I met and connected with was Meg from Revive Personal Training Studio and after a coffee together we agreed we both had clients that could benefit from the services of the other. This meeting has also led to the two of us combining forces to run a Wellbeing Seminar which will provide another opportunity for us to share databases, promote our businesses in a different forum while at the same time offering something new as a service to our clients. I only joined in December and am not to sure what to expect. What I am already impressed with is your total commitment to make sure all your members receive extraorodinary value. I just want to say how powerful your information is. I set my business up 8 mths ago and have been attending networking functions on a regular basis, with lukewarm results. There was a time when networking was just getting a little tired! It cost a lot, took me away from business and produced no tangible results. So after many breakfasts of poached eggs and coffee I decided to take a punt with Networking World. I already knew Brenda from other functions and realized instantly that she was committed to helping others, was full of bright ideas and her integrity was impressive. Being part of Networking World has been great for someone like me. Not much of a social butterfly I look for targeted business strategies with people who are equally focused on moving forward with alliances. So I get targeted networking with Networking World, up front! Brenda recently introduced me to Belinda of Amazing Events, another Networking World member. It seemed my ears should have been burning because they had been talking about me behind my back. A good thing it turns out! It became clear that there was a potential alliance between Belinda and myself which Brenda could see and was able to foster. After a couple meetings we now have a plan for the development of what will become not just an alliance, but potentially a new business partnership. It has taken a lot of networking to develop something of powerful potential, but I am glad I stuck to it, glad I took the chance on becoming part of the Networking World community. I'm still quite a new business so to just have the feedback and interest in working with me has been fantastic. WOW! I have just participated in a demonstration on using Webinars. What a great new easy to use tool that can be utilized by business and it is also cost effective, especially for people in small to medium businesses. This interactive tool enables people to visualize and actively participate in an on-screen presentation whilst talking and listening to other people on a telephone conference line. Thank you Brenda I really enjoyed Thursday night – learning and meeting with similar minded people .
